It's time for another round of the Book Blogger Hop, hosted by Crazy for Books! This weeks question is: How do you spread the word about your blog?
My answer: I'm still very new to book blogging so I haven't gotten too deep into promoting my blog yet. I'm working on getting the content on here first before I start looking for tons of followers. I try to participate in a few of the weekly memes, such as this one, Top Ten Tuesday and In My Mailbox. Those have been my main source for promoting the blog so far. I also have a link to my blog on my Goodreads profile. I've been thinking about getting a Twitter account specifically for this blog sometime in the near future as well.
Too many blogs out there worry about getting followers before worrying if their content so bravo on having your priorities in order!
ReplyDeleteI don't use Twitter for my blog at the moment but I'm thinking I might start. I doubt I'll create a separate blog-specific Twitter account though.
I was the same way when I first started a few months ago. My main goal was having something to say on my blog and I worked on that for a while before I started chasing followers.

Just stopping by to say hello! Oh gosh the Twitterness. I've had mine for months now and just can't seem to figure it out. I can tweet. I can retweet. But I'm having issues finding ways to "network" with it. I guess I need to start following more people. But then there's all the confusion with the @ and # stuff. LOL! Drives me crazy sometimes.
